The thing about Henry Bowman was
- he had no dependents
- he was moderately wealthy (financially independent if he so chose)
- he had already suffered the worst a man could
- he had done the worst a man could
- he crossed the line by accident, not choice
- he had all the resources he needed.
In other words: forced to act, he had nothing to lose, and had been-there-done-that.

Few of us are mentally prepared that way. We will not choose to do that which would cost us too much.
...and THAT is why the Left can now steamroll us: we believe we have too much to lose.

I know. But he also inspired others to action also who normally would have sat around impotent. We need someone who will spur us on, not to the same extent (yet), but to lead the way so that we don't need to be steamrolled.

The left is very good at intimidating tactics, i.e. rallies, protests, civil disobedience, etc. We need to do some of the same especially aimed at the media and our elected officials.
