All I can muster is an ‘awwww’...but I know this person has a family that is very scared right now, so I’ll be kind and say prayers for his safe release.

That’s what I was thinking at first but then I read post number 3 and started thinking, “Sure this guy has a family but for the most part, he’s an enemy of the US so I don’t really feel sorry for him.” There’s a lot of verses that come into play in this situation though so I don’t wish harm for this person.
I’m with you. I pray he is set free and uses this awful experience as a stepping stone to see the enemy for what is and report on it appropriately.
