It’s not much of a choice, but yes, I’d prefer President Hillary.
I also think she’d have been easier to run against. For one, the press would have been furious at her for denying the Golden Boy the Dem nomination, so McCain occasionally would have been able to attack her without the press screeching. And for another, I think she’d have helped mobilize the Rep base.
But it’s irrelevant now.
The other thing that would have happened if Hillary won the nomination would have been the black vote.
They would have stayed home and tiled a lot of states to McCain. Democrats can’t win without maximizing minority turnout.
