I like both of them and would definitely be happy with either one as RNC chair.

This is at least a 1000x better than the choices we had in the Republican primaries.

I heard Newt too at a pro-Israel function in the 1990s. Again, very impressive, not a note, had command of the Middle East.

I'm not questioning his intellect, which is sizeable. I'm questioning his mean streak and ability to bare-knuckle fight, which I think is lacking.

They are both good. I would like to see Steele stay out of this and run for office later. I would beat the streets for him in a heartbeat.
