What are you talking about? You seem to think that the GOP should just be given a free pass to do whatever the hell they want and nominate whoever they want because, well, anyone's better than the Marxists. Meanwhile, George Bush nationalizes the entire banking industry. If you want to educate people not to vote for "free cotton candy" you've got to make them realize that there's an alternative in the first place. But there is no alternative! Both sides buy votes with "free cotton candy"! And you seem ready to give it a wink and nod when the GOP does it. How can ever expect to wake anyone up like that?

I have repeatedly said that *focusing* on the candidate is delusional.
If we don’t do the hard work I’ve described elsewhere, it will make no difference who the candidate is once the socialist ball really gets rolling in this country.
The GOP doesn’t nominate our candidate, we do. And I don’t say it doesn’t matter who the candidate is.
I am saying that is *not all there is to it* and it is useless and harmful to proceed as if it is.
Good day.

(Who needs the Fairness Doctrine? Obama admits the power to tax is the power to destroy.)

The GOP is socialist-lite and many Democrats registered Republican to make McCain win the primary. They didn't want Obama or Hillary, so their method worked, but ultimately failed.
The Republican Party in some states is an absolute waste of time and money. Conservatives are better off registering as Democrats and getting conservative candidates to beat the radical left's candidates at the primary level. If some states vote Democrat no matter what, conservatives should take advantage of that.
