Whither Now, America?
The New Media Journal ^ | November 10, 2008 | Ercille I. Christmas

The hoopla is over. The people have decided. History has been made. The bonbons are being ordered. The Presidential Cabinet is being revealed, while the cabinets in the dining room of the White House are being measured for new China.

Sound the trumpets and clang the cymbals! America has its first African-American President-Elect, and he is indeed both African and American. He is considered “black,” but he is both black and white. The overwhelming support that he received from yellow, black, brown and white will surely put the kibosh on the racist views espoused by all sides of the color spectrum. Those who have made a career out of birthing and fostering divisions between the races will surely have either to find new employment, or devise new ways of creating racial strife. It will be hard to be a race baiter in the future!

I have not read any words of wisdom from any pundits, but I would bet at least one buck that the President-Elect is receiving advice from within the country and without. I passed up on taking a course in punditry, but that will not prevent me from weighing in with my quarter’s worth (inflation has upped the ante from two cents!). So here goes, Mr. President-Elect. Pay close attention.

While this article asks the president-elect for some very reasonable things, we all know he will continue the Democrat economic policies that have destroyed our economy (the idea of forcing banks to loan money to people who can’t pay them back is one example), he will be easily pushed around by our enemies. Russia already tested him a big shove and he simply fell down without getting up. He will strip freedom of speech, starting with talk radio. He will be a disaster for the country. Our only hope is that Republicans jettison their failed leadership and put true Conservatives in control.

“America has its first African-American President-Elect, and he is indeed both African and American. He is considered “black,” but he is both black and white.”

I remember when Tiger Woods was the first “African-American” to win a bunch of tournaments. I used to tell people how proud I was to live in a country that recognized that Tiger was the first Thai-American to win the Masters (Tiger’s mother is from Thailand). People would look at me like I grew a second head.

I will really be proud of my country, from a racial aspect, when the media stops force feeding us this PC crap surrounding the successes of “African-Americans.” Personally, if I were black, I would feel patronized by it.

No, the phrase of the day is, “Wither now, America”. That’s what happens under socialism.

Obama Wins, Economy’s Doomed:

Peter Schiff, president of Euro Pacific Capital and author of ‘The Little Book of Bull Moves in Bear Markets,’ says a big-government Obama administration will lead to an economic collapse on par with the Great Depression.
