I never thought that at all. It doesn’t make sense to me either. It’s a case of unrequited love that Christians have for the people and land of their Savior. Some things we will never figure out.

It's because they never learn. They were sent a savior, and they rejected him. Along will come a liberal, and it is he they will accept. That'll finally knock some sense into them.

It isn't hard to figure out at all, it's all explained in the bible. This is exactly what the Lord prophesied would happen and leads to Israels near destruction.
