It is an imperative that we pull out now. This tells us two things:
#1 The General officer corps cares more about politics than their soldiers (The good general should have resigned on the spot when ordered to implement this “strategy”)
#2 We are asking our soldiers to do the impossible. Fight, but not fight back. It will yield senseless death.
Both of these mean we have lost through loss of will to fight from our political leaders. Don’t sacrifice soldiers because you don’t have the balls to fight an actual war.
