WooHoo! Our Laura got the very first 'First Lady' rose! The coloration sounds beautiful. I hope it has a nice fragrance, too. When we get moved to MS, I'd like to start a rose garden, and the Laura Bush rose will be the first one I plant! Hmmm. My b-i-l, the priest, has a lovely rose garden; I might buy one for him, so he can get it planted for next Spring!
May Our Dear Lord provide swift relief from his pain and skilled physicians to heal his afflictions. God be with him and you.
Please keep us posted when you can.
My oh my!

BIG HUGS for You & an ever so gentle; pain free Hug for Your Dad.
I too am sorry to hear about your father.
We will keep you both in our prayers also.
Sorry I'm late :( Hope you both had great days and nice presents! :)
Do your grandkids call you Gigi? I was thinking I'd like for our grandkids to call me that, whenever we have some. ;o) My Mama was called Mimi, and my sister's grandkids call her Nana, so I didn't want to use either of those.
This past Mother's Day, our oldest son and his girlfriend surprised me, and her mother, with a nice lunch at a place on Boston Harbor. I had absolutely NO clue, until we walked into the restaurant, and there were Paul, his girlfriend, and her family. Hubby and our youngest son knew about it, of course, so they could get me over there, and they kept the secret quite nicely. It was a fantastic day!
Good for you! And yes, he’s a very sweet hubby. :-)
