Not supporting Palin is just another piece of the McCain legacy.

he really just dropped right off the face of the earth, didn't he?

As he should.

If he's allowing/ordering his underlings to "take out" Palin in a way that doesn't come back on him, then he's scum. If he knows the charges aren't true, and allows them to continue, then he's scum.

If he supported McCain Feingold; he's scum.
If he supported amnesty; he's scum.
If he voted for the bailout; he's scum.
If he deliberately threw the election; he's scum.

At least we won't have to hear "my friends" or "reaching across the aisle" anymore.

Demrats have talked openly, if anonymously, about punishing McCain for have the audacity to contest the presidential election. Ergo, Mr. Bipartisan, will probably not do the honorable thing. His response to this BS should have been immediate and vigorous.

I emailed his Senate office and told him I’m ashamed of the person he has become. Furthermore, I want my campaign contribution money back. The Senator did not run a credible campaign, therefore he cheated me and everyone who sent him money.

Biegun said Palin’s generous spirit was on clear display the final weekend of the campaign, after she was subjected to a prank call by a pair of French Canadian radio DJs imitating French President Nicolas Sarkozy.

“I approved the call and was in abject horror of what I had done,” he recounted. “But she said, ‘Look, it’s not about whose fault this is, don’t beat yourself up, let’s just move on.’

These knucklehead French Canadian DJs pulled it off with the Queen as well so Palin wasn't the first duped.

What I want to know is the names of the “sources.” Reporting garbage without naming sources is yellow journalism. Carl Cameron is now on my leper-list.

My husband got an email from McCain’s campaign...basically saying “Kumbaya”...we should support Hussein now. He was furious. We did not give the maximum allowed to have the top of our ticket give a mealy mouthed email saying (basically) that there is little difference between the two parties. He deserved to lose. He is more interested in refurbishing his senate creds than taking on the position of “loyal opposition” ...where we stand up for those points that are essential to this country and fight for those principles. INstead, he will spend most of his time being the republican version of the democratic party.

It's too late now for McCain to come "rushing" to Palin's defense. And he knows it. He doesn't care. He will never come to her defense. He is not only NOT a gentleman, but's he's a scoundrel to boot.

When one thinks of the brave Americans in our past, Nathan Hale, the men at the Alamo, the General who said "Nuts" to the Germans when surrounded, men of courage and SPINE we see McCain's character in a complete meltdown as he couldn't even muster one drop of loyalty for a woman.

This wouldn't have taken that much bravery, John. I will always look at you as John the Betrayer. You aren't fit to shine Sarah's mukluks.

McCain was a lot quicker to defend Obama from Republican comments than to defend Sarah from comments made by his own staff.

But that is McCain's MO and why I think he rode Sarah's skirt-tails.

“I personally think that the bad mouthing of Sarah Palin is being done by undercover demo-rats.”

Does that include McCain himself?

Politico names five aides. While speaking on the record, none denies being the source of Cameron’s report. Nor does any of them specifically deny that she didn’t know Africa is a continent, the parties to NAFTA, etc. Their statements go only to her energy, her decency, etc. Politico should learn how to ask the right questions.

Well for all we know they did ask the right questions. I have read on earlier threads and heard accusations during the campaign about the 'Bush' aides being responsible for the gossip and holding her back. Sure does not sound that way with the ones who would allow their names to be used in this piece.

It's sad but true my friends, John McCain is missing in action when it comes to defending Palin.

I’d like to see Palin cold cock Cameron, like Bruce Willis’ wife did the reporter at the end of the first “Die Hard” movie.

What I said is I didn’t the aides I named denying the validity of gossip claims—or that they were the whisperers.

I couldn't manage to get through that and was interested in what you were attempting to say.
