They won't be, but I doubt she'll be running in 2012. Obama would have to have Bush's current poll numbers to even be threatened by any Republicans running then. The real contest will be in 2016. I don't think she'll get the nomination in either year, for a lot of reasons (especially given the changing demographics in the largest states - it wasn't a fluke that the Dems were able to give McCain/Palin a butt-whipping). I'm not even sure she would be offered the VP slot again. I'm hoping she takes over Stevens' seat at some point. That's probably the best place for her.
