Long before John McCain delivered his concession speech, which reminded even the liberal left of his dignity and courage, his staffers had plunged into their next task. It is, sadly, one they had begun two weeks prior to the election, a time when their candidate most needed them.
But rather than shoring up McCains weakly explained policies on the failing economy the most important issue to voters his staffers were already scrambling to lay blame for their faltering campaign on McCains running mate, Sarah Palin. It was a move that some saw coming long before it happened, as unnamed staffers complained to the press that Palin had gone rogue and was already positioning her own political future.

Where do you come up with this nonsense? Show me once where I said that Obama was smart. Just once.
If you'll actually bother to read, even though it's too far out, I'm liking Jindal right now.
And pinging the admin because I don't happen to gushing over Palin to the magnitude that you think all good little FReepers should? C'mon, this crappola has to stop.
Ah geeeze, I shoulda looked first. I should have known you were a noob with 2 damned days under your belt.
He kinda reminds me of those empty headed cartoon characters. But you are right. He is far more dangerous than a mere cartoon chracter.
I have $50 that says he’s a retread.
You claim Gov Plain is “not smart”, no?
Given that Obambi has been elected president, it makes plenty of sense to compare Gov Palin’s record to that of Obambi.
If an empty suite, no achievemnts clown like Obambi can be elected president, of course a state Governor with REAL achievements and responsibilities can be elected president too.
If you are impressed by Obambi’s Harvard, I might point out to you that there have been US presidents who have never even been to school before they got elected, and they were pretty good presidents too.
Oh, I suspect you’ve been a member before. I have a strong hunch that this ain’t your first rodeo.
Jindal is a brilliant man, say what you will.
You guys are delusional. I think Palin is great, and instinctively right on pretty much all the issues. But she is a novice in policy, and not a good talker. She would get killed if she were the nominee in 2012. But she won’t be.
Remember, I said she was great. She is quite good on abortion and a few other issues. She just is nowhere near strong enough across the board.
No.
If anyone’s delusional'its gotta be you.
“But she is a novice in policy, and not a good talker”
What policy does Obambi know?
The guy's zero in anything you can think of, and he still won on pure hot air, and meaningless slogans about “change”. Change my eye. Not a good talker huh? Obambi can't even give a coherent 2 minute speech without his ever ready teleprompter.
” She would get killed if she were the nominee in 2012. But she wont be”
Oh rubbish!
No one was more viciously attacked in 2008 than Gov Palin was. Funny thing is, she came out of all that far more popular than any Republican politician in this country. She gets by far better TV ratings on any TV program she appears on than any politician in this country, inlcuding Obambi. A a new Rasmussen Poll has her by far the choice of most Republicans for 2012, with massive 64 percent of Republicans saying that Palin is their top choice for the GOP 2012 presidential nominee:

“She just is nowhere near strong enough across the board”
She has more executive experience than Obambi and Biden combined, has run state budgets of billions, and made decisions that affects the lives of more working Americans than the empty suite Obambi ever has in his entire left wing extremist life. It's time for you and your kind to wake up and smell the coffee.
Jindal is “brilliant” on what?
Does he have a PhD in rocket science? And has he invented the cure for cancer yet?
And what does “brilliance” have to do with whether he can win in 2012 or not?
If brilliance is what it took, Obambi wouldn't be president today. Look, I like Jindal, but it's yet to be seen if he can garner strong national support in the hard grind of campiagning across the country, and win a Republican primary.
Grow up.Look at this mornings headlines. The U.S. is falling apart with that marxist not even in full power yet. And you want to name call about primaries in 2012? This is how Obama will take 8 full years to completely destroy America. I have nothing against Palin, Jindal or any future contender. I have but one thing in mind-WINNING to get this marxist out of power. I am certainly not going to waste my time arguing primaries right now. We need to all organize and get behind someone. We have no leader. How about concentrating on that instead of name calling people who are not sure Palin can do it quite yet?
More reason why we should make sure we get a conservative candidate that will win in 2012.
If we had voted right in the primaries and come up with a good candidate, instead of McCapain, we would not be looking at 4 years of the most inexperienced clown, and a Marxist to boot in the White House for the next 4 years.
We need to start working on 2010 and 2012 right now. Don't forget Obama started working on his 2008 presidential campaign as long ago as that 2004 DNC convention when he gave that speech of his.
