That’s where I am, in the Choctaw Nation.

Keep in mind this is the poorest section of the state and wages are lower. Living costs like taxes and housing are considerably lower. I’m guessing groceries, utilities and fuel are about the same as the rest of the state.

We have the best climate and topography in Oklahoma.

Thanks for your input. I’m really anxious to check it out. Now where are the areas in OK where there are ranches? And where is the oil drilling? Both those areas interest me also. :) Thanks, Oklahoma!

Also, is your area of OK known for lots of tornadoes? Someone said OK is in “tornado alley”.
