I just read an article that stated the PUMA’s did show up. It was too many conservatives that stayed home.

Doesn’t sound like the PUMAs turned out in the numbers they assured us they would either. In many places, McCain underperformed down-ticket Republicans. The number of votes McCain lost from the base exceeded anything the PUMAs were expected to do; I don't know how you could tell whether the PUMAs showed up or not.
