Hmm. Usually at best I agree with people on most things but not everything. But there’s nothing you said in the statement that began this thread that I don’t agree with, in about the same order.
If we are to rebuild the conservative movement, we cannot allow it to splinter into fiscal conservatives, liberatarians, and social conservatives. Logically, all these things belong together. What’s the meaning of liberty if there is no right to life? How can you have a free society unless people are morally responsible? How can you have a stable society without stable families, whether or not you plan to have a family or children yourself?
Let’s not let the opposition, or the RINOs, or the RNC, or the so-called conservative intellectuals, divide us.
Divide et impera. That’s their motto. We have to understand that all these issues are important. We have to work together. We can’t just shrug off the murder of innocent babies, or the destruction of marriage and family, as trivial matters. How can you trust someone who is willing to kill the innocent for convenience or profit?
