> For one thing, Michelle, its misspelled. Hes the Present-Elect <
A good way to put it!
But I think he and his worshippers would rather that we just call him The Elect.

No, there isnt no such thing as office of the president elect, but dont expect MSM to say anything about it. Are you kidding me... they're too busy falling all over themselves reporting on how cute it was when he said that he wanted to get a mutt dog just like himself.
To: RichInOC
No, he’s President-elect Uhh.

Think about him speaking Tuesday night - as he watches the crowd cheering him.... The Audacity of Ego

I don’t get some of things on which Michelle wishes to focus.

I had a client in this afternoon when his Obama-ness was on the big-screen in the room. He said, “you know, I wonder if anyone in the entire media knows the Constitution. You see that, he doesn’t even qualify for the non-existent office that he thinks he holds - he’s not POTUS-elect until the Electoral College meets and votes for him, and the Constitution has no such office anyway. But what do you expect of our media, the idiots?”
I can’t improve on that, other than to say that the government’s carpenters had better get busy making the doors in the White House a lot wider - so that Barry can fit his head through without bumping it.

"Well, he did say theres only room for one president at a time." NOT True. I saw on "bold and Beautiful" today (well, i can't stomach any of the news these days) Eric named Ridge AND Rick president of Forrester fashions.

I love those Hokies. No offense intended in that direction. How about idiotic sign.......

Strictly speaking Obama isnt President-elect until the electoral college votes. Good point. You're 100% correct.

His ego is on overdrive.
The real name for that part of the government is the GSA Transition Office.
I expect that the c,d,e,i,l,n,p,r,s and t keys to get worn out on all government keyboards from typing the phrase "President-Elect" all the time.
To: lowbridge
The first time I heard the phrase Office of the President-Elect was from a receptionist answering phones in the Matt Santos transition office during the final episode of The West Wing.

Hell, Pelosi and Reed are probably going to go ahead and start passing legislation and send it to this new “Office”.

If (big if) the press ever starts turning on him, he is in for one wild ride. It ain't happenin' The press was pro-Clinton, but for the most part circumspect about it. You really had to work to build up a dossier on a covert Democrat "reporter".
The press had to go on suicide runs to get Palin. Most of them are now "out", and are effectively a Government Press.

I keep seeing LA Mayor Villgrosa near his side. Hopefully he doesn’t give him the Head of Homeland Security spot??

He’s acting like Fidel already. Get used to seeing his ugly face all over the TV (with no alternative choices) for 5-hour tirades.
