We’ve got a Bichon as well... I have terrible allergies (maybe socialized medicine can fix that for me, ya think?) and the dog is truly somewhat hypo-allergenic.

No, kabar, Chauncey Gardner was sincerely working to the best of his intellectual capacity. Obama is a con-artist and a front man. He is not preparing to do the deciding-in-chief. He will delegate that kind of ‘work.’
Pelosi is looking forward to being the person in charge (our prime minister) with Obama as the figurehead president, who appears at events, and allows friendly journalists to prostrate themselves before him.

Lemme guess - they’re going to name the dog Checkers?
To: Miss Didi
I caught the tail end of it and the most probing question from the media seemed to be over what kind of dog he was going to get (eye roll)...and he can't even come to a decision on that!! Here's a 'hypoallergenic' Peruvian hairless!
Now make a stupid decision Mr. Obama. Geez!!

Makes me wonder now if he didn't know his grandmother had terminal cancer when he called her "a typical white woman."

President Bush, at this time had already selected Colin Powell, was in the process or had already brought in Condi, as well as other minorities. Obama has surrounded himself with old white guys. Wow, what a change.

...Can anyone explain how it is that Colin Powell and Condi Rice think its good that O got elected...Because, along with GW, they're all part of the same club and no matter who's in office the same people behind the scenes will run the show?

Open Questions:
Did anyone see any leadership in any form whatsoever in today’s presser?
My answer: None. Zippo. Eeyore would have found it inspiring.
What impression did America’s enemies form of Obama’s after his first presser?
My answer: This guy can’t lead. This guy can’t make a decision. This guy is worried about something altogether different than foreign policy.
I am embarrassed for our country. I didn’t expect to agree with much he said, but there clearly was something way off in today’s press conference. I think he needs to have another presser to discuss just what was wrong with him during his presser.
Maybe we are going to be calling these things: Depressers.

I’ve decided that anytime someone talks to me about President-elect Obama, I’m gonna start scratching my face with my THIRD finger and continue it for the next 4 years!

CNN after-presser theme: He was very presidential.
It's that fancy "Office of President Elect" sign. I bet he'll start wearing "Soon to be Pres" t-shirts. He's classy.
To: snarkytart
He made Bush look articulate.
