You make that clear and you repeat in various forms in many of your posts since you signed up in June.

Your agenda is to stop Palin, promote Romney, and make FR less conservative, or “monolithic” and “out of touch” as you put it.

The agenda of FR is to strengthen, promote, and be activists for, conservatism.

The agenda of FR is to strengthen, promote, and be activists for, conservatism.

That can only be accomplished through popular pressure for conservative policies on existing politicians, or achieving elected office for conservatives. In order to do either of those, a degree of adaptability and pragmatism is called for.
