McCain did not drop any ball. He sucked from day one, The ONLY reason he got my vote was because of Palin.

McCain lost because he got 6 million fewer votes than President Bush did in 2004 ... without Palin's energizing influence it would have been 8-10 million.

Same here. We voted McCain ONLY because of Palin. We need to make that point loud and proud!!

McCain alone was not even my 2nd choice. The early primaries that allowed unregistered as Republicans to vote eliminated the TRUE conservative choices. Primaries were a sham for Republican voters.

Tis ok. We needed to clean house and let the GOP know who is their boss.

McCain did not drop any ball because he does not have any. He should have thrown everything in the book at Barack. Especially his past assosiations with people like Wright and Ayers.

Amen! I know plenty of liberal and “moderate” relatives who voted for McCain just because of Sarah. And they all want to see her run in 2012.

As for McCain, he’s a turn coat. Just like he turned on his base with McCain/Feingold and McCain/Kennedy. Once again we voted for the lessor of two evils and got evil. Again, I’ll admit had it not been for Sarah I would have voted third party or stayed home.

Aside from the Iraq war, McCain was unable to effectively communicate that he is the leader of an opposition party. And this is mainly because of his opposition to conservatives and the legislation he humped and sold.

Goodbye and good riddance!
