I am the furthest thing you can get from a conspiracy theorist, as my posts JFK have shown, BUT.
McCain was sailing in the polls when the economic “crisis” came, I’m a little more than suspicious.

Interesting post, many times I wondered to myself are they going for the Communist candidate now because it may be their last chance? I saw this as the final battle of the MSM, who from this moment forward will be called Pravda.
Pravda has been losing influence steadily, would this be the last election cycle that they had the power to elect a Communist before the alternative media came closer to them in influence? They sure seemed to act that way.
The confluence of events created the perfect storm, as Ann Coulter mentioned, they had every single possible advantage and only managed to get 52% of the vote.
Now the question is how much Communism is the public willing to accept? Who will dare call it Communism? We’re in for the fight of our lives and we better become MORE political than ever if we’re to survive.
Reagan said freedom is always one generation away from being lost, this is the generation. It was on the brink in 1980, Reagan gave us a reprieve, it’s up to us now. My hope IS that they overreach and the people wake up.

We haven’t had a “strategy” to win states, the house, or the senate since 1994. The blue print is available, the “Republicans” refuse to use it. Liberals give us TONS of ammo to make commercial, they should be called out on their anti-American, anti-Military, anti-free market stances every time.
Did you see one commercial about the congress woman (Marxine Waters) about taking over the oil companies???
The Republican establishment is as dumb as a box of rocks, a dozen of us could make commercials to turn liberals into a minority party in one party using liberals own words.
“Ayers & co. are not powerful enough to subvert the entire media & academia.”
Never heard of “The long march through the institutions,” eh? Gramsci?
You need to read David Horowitz.
“Youre talking a conspiracy on the scale of the Illuminati.”
You can’t make a fact disappear by deriding it as a “conspiracy.” It is a movement; a large number of leftist swine, with Satan behind the curtain, acting as they think they ought.
“Taking advantage of the natural flow of culture is not subversive large-scale manipulation thereof.”
Movement to the left is *never* the natural flow of culture, as it is inimical to human nature. Movement to the left is *always* the result of “subversive...manipulation,” either by a murderous minority or a large number of leftist crusaders.
“Media & academia tend to attract people of a certain general political persuasion.”
That’s not a fact of nature. It’s an artifact of the implementation of the long march through the institutions, combined with the freezing out of non-leftists.
“Get over the Obama Derangement Syndrome.”
It is so wrong-headed to try and turn around the legitimate complaint on Bush Derangement Syndrome that I am forced to wonder what your agenda is.
Clinton really was a scumbag. Obama really is a scumbag. It is not possible to criticize either strongly enough, and there is no degree of this legitimate criticism that can fairly or accurately be labeled a “derangement syndrome.”

“Thanks a lot, buddy. Now I’m in a worse mood than I was before.”
Sorry. But you know what? It really is darkest just before the dawn.
That said, do you want to be *really* creeped out?

I’m hoping you can share my sense of black humor (Oh, is that wacist now?) and get a loud, if bitter, laugh from that.
“My hope IS that they overreach and the people wake up.”
The number of people who recognized the media bias (toward Chairman Maobama, this time) was *way* up this election.
(Sound of arrow thunking into my chest.)
To your post I say...yup.
My head is bloody and bowed.
There's the rub. Is he "in charge"? Can he really control the system and flout the rules of economics? The market always wins, one way or another. Besides that, who's pulling his strings? I agree he's not that bright, so someone else will be telling him what to do. Who is that someone?
It is now time for Atlas to Shrug...

"The conditioned reactions are strong when not confronted [by BS and Obamamania] and counterinterpreted. But Obama was and is vulnerable and could have been crushed. But he wasn't about to be confronted by the fat lazy complacent Republican aristocracy typified by Bush and McCain who are positioned on the basis of family name and contacts and, the entirety of which could not muster up three functioning brain cells. Those who are not brainless are too worried about protecting their entitled sinecures to rock the boat and do their job or defend the nation. They are the most useless bunch of pretentious parasites on earth.
