I've always liked the idea of citizen militia. Get's us former military types off our asses and back into some kind of shape.

However, the Constitutional way to do this is via State/governor control... not as a Private Army of Brownshirts for the Imperial President.

Obambia tries this, it could seriously spark some "active resistance".

Sorry too late. The time for active resistance was the past 6 months while the dems/dbm elected a candidate with too many flaws to list,first being not being born here or even eligible to run!!!

Could this "civilian militia" be a ploy to satisfy the 2nd amendment & still remove the individual's right to bear arms?
