You are right. That’s why I’m developing a sense of peace about this loss quicker than I had hoped. Because WE didn’t get fooled. This is not going to end well, no way, no how.
I think I felt worse when Bubba got elected. I actually cried that night. Yeah, I'm a female. I've hardened since then. On Tuesday I found out my youngest son got laid off from his job. I think I felt worse about that than I did about Bambi getting elected. My mother always said: "Everything happens for a reason. You might not think so now, but it will all become apparent sometime in the future."
I really think the next four years are going to be very enjoyable for us Conservatives. I expect to see some pretty bizarre behavior from the Obama White House and the Democrats in Congress. Besides Biden, we'll have Michelle to laugh at. I think the press is in for a big surprise if they think they will have any access to the Messiah or his bride. Neither of them are very outgoing or open people. If they thought the Bush White House was secretive, just wait. And with Bambi's retaliatory nature, I can see some real problems occurring between the White House Press Corps and him. He won't like being pushed to answer a question. They'll give him a pass for a while, but I think they'll turn on him when they realize he's not willing to share anything with them. I truly believe that at some point in time, the people who thought Obama was such a great choice, will be wishing that George W. Bush was back in office.
