The discussion the other evening said there were two types of documents that could produce a "Birth Certificate" One was a Certificate of live birth in a hospital, signed by the attending DR or a live birth attended by a mid=wife. The second type was a registry of birth. A child could be born on one of the islands without medical verification or even in another country and the parent then registered that the child had been born. Both can produce a "birth certificate" What is at issue is the source upon which the certificate was produced. Was it a registry of birth or certificate of live birth.
Fukimo may have seen the typed birth certificate, but he does not state he has seen the hand written certificate of live birth. They are two different items. Ed Hale says he has inside source that say it is a registry of birth....dated several days after Jr was born.
I have read that you could have a foreign BC registered in Hawaii. It may be that he does have one in HI but it's from Kenya.
