... ask a man on the street and more than likely hell give you another reason for anything thats ever happened to America, the profound and analytical retort of its all Bushs fault. The problem is that he means it. A bigger problem is that we let this happen.
Why is this? The question does not even need to be asked. The obvious answer is the lack of able PR coming from our side.
While President Bush has been, contrary to conventional opinion (opinion that will change within months of his departure from office), an able leader on defense and on many economic issues, he has never been allowed to communicate the true reasons for his decisions or to defend himself from over the top attacks. His handlers have been cautious, and cautiousness, while having a rightful and important place, does not carry the day.

You have GOT to be joking.
He is not my cup of tea.
I’d rather have Sarah.
On the “pro-illegal alien” ticket, maybe.
Mike Huckabee, like John McCain, needs to go away.
Hunter/Jindal. No more global warming frauds.
No, thank you.
We have true conservatives on the bench, like Bobby Jindal and Sarah Palin. I think we'll pass on the Huckster.
uh.. No...
let me repeat... No..
how about one more time..
...No...
It’s time to concentrate on congressional races.
I think that, when the dust settles, we will discover that the typical Huckabee voter is who got us into this mess.
I will support Huckabee, Palin, or Jindal. They are conservatism, and Ronald Reagan would be proud of each of them.
I agree with you on Huckabee and fiscal conservatism, he was wrongly trashed by the club for growth. He is a federalist, so he spent money in Arkansas, he did it primarily with state money. Plus, Arkansas residents know they needed more investment in education and infrastructure.
Mike Huckabee needs to run for the AR Senate seat in 2010.
We do NOT need ANY of the people who ran for the nomination in 2008, even my own favorite, Fred Thompson.
There was nobody who was acceptable to all people, Huckabee included. I would argue that Thompson came closest, but others disagree with that. Huckabee has a lot of ugly stuff on his record. Imagine that video of him begging for a tax raise being used in commercials while he’s talking about cutting taxes.
Nope, sorry. No to the Huckster. Enough with all of those guys. No Rudy, no Romney, no Huck, no Fred, none of em.
Ditto here. Please, not Chucklebee or the sleazy Romney. Is this really the best the Republicans can do? They really are bent on self destruction.
He’s the idiot that’s responsible for giving us Juan McCain. On his show, he could also be heard bashing Sarah Palin and the campaign.
Huckaphony is a wackjob.
haha, is this for real?
God save us from your servant Elmer Gantry.
I’ve had enough of that fat goober. Sarah 2012.
AGREED! No Huckabee! He’s a talk show host now; his political career is over as far as I am concerned.
sure he can afford to be more fiscally conservative as he probable has a dozen illegals working in and around his home.
No thanks.
Or rather: while Huck obviously would be better than Obama, I would strongly prefer another Republican choice. Other than guns and abortion and a generally good rapport with the media, Huckabee leaves much to be desired.
