Some of these guys are truly vicious. There was a gay bar in Toledo that always had knifing victims in the alley. Few went there without a crowd. Safety in numbers.
And gals (or whatever). We had a gay bar in our 'hood. Started as a C&W bar but went gay somewhere along the line. The neighborhood hated it because of the violence in the parking lot and surrounding alley ways every freaking weekend.
They finally got it closed down - a local Salvadoran restaurant that was being displaced by road construction bought it. It seems to be a family place now, haven't tried it yet.
