There has been an enormous effort by many parishes to emphasize the importance of voting against the Candidate of Death. Some bishops came right out and said that voting for a pro-abortion candidate is a mortal sin. In our parish, the priest came right out and said that if you vote for a pro-abortion candidate you are choosing evil and responsible for the deaths of potentially millions more babies. My understanding, however, is that not all priests were sending a clear message.
