I’m not going to write off Fox because there’s still a good corps of reporters there. Greta was going off on these “anonymous sources” as cowardly. She did a lot of interviews and research up in Alaska after Sarah was brought on board, and NEVER did anyone ever make the claims that the “anonymous sources” are.

BS all the way.

Ask yourself, if this woman was so dumb would anyone be wasting time attacking her? they'd let her go back to Alaska and be forgotten. The very fact they're picking up after the MSM and the Dems is that some feel Romney should have been the candidate and must be the candidate in 2012. And that Sarah Palin is too difficult an obstacle for Romney to overcome. Join the Dems and kill her now. I don't think they understand how tough this woman is.

Exactly right. Free Republic needs to become a Romney-free zone for the next 4 years.

Country clubber, mealy-mouthed and limp-wristed republicans didn’t like Gov. Palin. Imagine that.

Here’s a clue for those nancy-boys on McCain’s team. Gov. Palin was the only reason we voted for him.

“sad that Hannity cannot, as a employee of FOX, stand against this.”

I think he still might be on it with a vengeance; he’s on a roll and pretty pissed off.

She fired me up.

I was not fired up over McCain. Probably would have still voted for McCain, but Palin made it palatable.

I wouldn’t have “sit out” the election were it not for Palin, but I would have voted for someone else — Keyes or Baldwin, maybe. Without Palin, though, no vote for McCain.

I also sent it out to everybody on my email list...managed to get a huge response already from all my conservative friends that I thought were still in bed with the covers over their head. A grassroots campaign, swamp the Governor’s office with thank you cards.
Post it everywhere!!!!!

Fox is so “fair and balanced” that they “dish the dirt” on Palin from anonymous “sources.” To get any news from Fox you not only have to put up with that garbage but also with the stable of shop-worn Dim hacks who come on - 50 % of the time = fair and balanced - to read talking points.

I’ve pretty well given up on TV as a source of news.

I know this sounds like Captain Obvious; the MSM is the enemy...the true enemy of this country. We need to devise a plan to absolutely destroy the media that represents themselves as journalists but reports “fake but accurate” stories and opinion as fact.

Am I being unrealistic?

I think, in the end, Sarah Palin did about as much harm as she did good.

As far as qualitative data goes: A small chunk of republicans were more likely to vote for McCain because of Palin. But this was balanced out by all the Independents and soft-dems who, being less likely to give her the benefit of the doubt, were definitely not enthralled with her.

In the cnn exit poll (yes, i know, exit polling...) It appears that Palin made little difference as well.

“Provide a link that proves that charge or withdraw it, please.”

The tone of your demand is uncalled for. But, what am I to expect from someone who apparently is google challenged.

There, enjoy.

“I feel sorry for McCain....he did his best”

Are you out of your MIND? He did no such thing. There were so many opportunities for him to attack Obama on actual, proven issues, but he took them “off the table”. He’s so weak that if I hadn’t seen pics of him in Hanoi Hilton, I wouldn’t even believe those stories. Maybe a person is allotted a finite number of heroic moments in a lifetime, and he spent all of his in Vietnam.

The way he ran this campaign, he betrayed America and he betrayed Palin — someone who didn’t deserve such horrendous treatment. If he planned to run a half-assed campaign, he should have chosen another VP candidate.

I won't say if Fox is finished, but I'm mad at them too....I'll be watching the Home and Garden channel during the day, or the Golf Channel, or the Food Channel...I won't watch Britt's show, he's leaving anyway...the all stars like Nina Easton and Charles Krauthammer were a huge disappointment, at least Myra Eliason, Juan Williams and Mort Kondrake, who are liberal, weren't condescending like Nina and Charles were this election season.

I'll have to rethink watching O'Reilly, Hannity and Greta...Fox was pretty much my evening entertainment when I didn't have anything else to do.

But now I think I'll get my politics fix from watching reruns of Dallas at night...Obama is a worse con-man than JR, only no real person gets hurt.

I totally agree. I wrote Sean last night and will write him again, along with a few other Fox people.

Like Rush has said, there’s a fight for the heart and soul of the republican party. The rockefeller blue bloods against conservatives.
