So, if OH and other swing states were only won by small margins, our task in winning back the voting populace is very ‘do-able.’

15,000 in NC
26,000 in IN
95,000 in FL
153,000 in CO
156,000 in VA
205,000 in OH

The margin should make us work hard on new registrations. Rather paying 100 to 150 dollars for this consultants, we need to invest more on the lower level foot soldiers. For example, paying 20 to 25 dollars an hour will be a good incentive for people to be responsible and motivated to work. You pay 10 dollars like moveon.org,it will be ACORN again.

Bottom line, we cannot just depend on radio talk shows and fox news to deliver the election. We need stronger, LOCAL organization.

I find it amazing (I guess I really don’t) that so many of the close races went to Democrats. It always seems to work out that way. There is no way I won’t believe that there wasn’t some chicanery involved in these results. In my state of Louisiana, which has an Acorn presence, Mary Landrieu and John Kennedy were neck and neck the whole night, and lo and behold, Landrieu eked it out like she always does in her always close elections.

In other words, either:

a. Get 650,000 more voters to the polls

b. Eliminate 650,000 fraudulent voters

c. Or change 325,000 minds.

From Day One, McCain was an inferior candidate who failed to excite the base -- indeed, he was often at odds with the base. Only the selection of Palin made him competitive.

We're really not that far away. But we need good conservative candidates who, once they get to Washington, will do what they've been sent there to do.
