The McCain Campaign’s Classless Cowards (already attempting to blame Sarah for their loss!!!)
MichelleMalkin.com ^ | 11/05/08 | Michelle Malkin

Posted on 11/05/2008 8:22:28 PM PST by KentTrappedInLiberalSeattle

The anonymous trashing of Sarah Palin by blabbermouth McCain aides who are leaking to Fox News is disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.

Allah’s got the vid clip of a report citing unnamed McCain staffers accusing Palin of lacking, in Carl Cameron’s words, “knowledgeability.”

At least all the Hollywood and Manhattan Palin-haters were willing to sign their names and put their faces on their attacks.

Let’s assume the rumor-mongers are telling the truth for a moment. Who does it damn more: Sarah Palin or McCain and his vetters who green-lighted her for the vice presidential nomination? Don’t need an Ivy League degree to figure that one out.

Sarah Palin worked her heart out. She energized tens of thousands to come out who would have otherwise stayed home. She touched countless families. I didn’t agree with everything she said on the campaign trail. But two fundamental conservative stands she took mattered greatly to me: She vigorously defended the Second Amendment and the sanctity of life more eloquently in practice than any of the educated conservative aristocracy.

And she did it all with a tirelessness and infectious optimism that defied the shameless, bottomless attempts by elites in both parties to bring her and her family down.

Shame on the smearers who don’t have the balls to show their faces.

Thank you, Sarah Palin. Thank you for stepping up the plate and serving your country.

***

More: Ace of Spades is %^&* spitting mad:

Here’s a story these staffers tell: Sent to collect Palin from a hotel, she greeted them, straight from the shower (running late, I guess ) dressed (scandal!) only in a bathrobe (presumably a very thick hotel bathrobe).

These staffers called that “uncommon” — Cameron delighted in the word to give it the sound of “whorish, unprofessional.”

Heh, assholes? She had to open the door and had just gotten out of the shower. Did you want her to use her magical powers of telekinesis to open the door for you?

So is RedState, which announces an accountability project.

Friendly little word of warning, RINOs:

You're expendable to us. SHE isn't.

Amen.

Even though he's just a silver-tongued empty suit, Obama has
good (not in moral terms) political instincts.

I'm praying he won't try a master stroke by offering Gov. Palin
a post in his cabinet!!!

Surely Palin would be smart enough and classy enough to graciously
decline the offer...but these days you just never know where
politics (and the stock market) are going to go.

I do not think it was McCain, himself, who uttered these nonsensical, totally unfounded, comments. He seems to have always enjoyed, and drawn great enthusiasm, from Sarah and her family. This sounds more like some low-life, low-level operative.

As for di@kless Carl, I was SO disappointed when he was chosen to cover the McCain campaign, the man couldn't generate excitement if his crotch was on fire!

Well she did make the public comment about questioning why the campaign pulled out of Michigan (when in fact it was a lost cause up there). This showed the Dems that there was trouble in paradise.

You're misrepresenting what happened.

Michigan was not a lost cause, as demonstrated by Colemann and that clown.

"Moderate" Republicans demanded (and were given) carte blanche opportunity to demonstrate, once and for all, that they knew how to win at the national level, this year.

They got exactly the candidate they wanted. They got exactly the party platform they wanted. The campaign was run exactly the way they insisted it be run.

How'd that end up working out for us, again...?

They lost to a one-term Senate Marxist with open and unapologetic terrorist ties. The only thing I want to hear from Team McCain or any of its aplogists, from this day forward, is a meek and contrite: "We're sorry."

They have nothing else worthwhile what. so. EVER. to contribute to any meaningful discussion, re: either conservatism or winning electoral strategies.

Blue Bloods, country clubbers, A listers, and RINOs have been USING good willed conservatives repeatedly without giving back squat in support for conservative values.

It's time to repay them with as much damage as possible to drive them out of the party or destroy them and the party entirely.

They also want to finish her off so she won’t run in 2012.

Sarah's parents are teachers, I seriously doubt if she didn't know Africa was a continent etc.

Her father was a science teacher and coach. Her mother was a school secretary. Maybe geography wasn't a big topic of discussion at home. I have encountered lots of otherwise intelligent people who are astonishingly uninformed concerning geography, although usually they are younger than Palin. (Geography doesn't seem to be taught very much in schools any more.) Lots of people have no clue that Africa is not one country, but comprises more than 50 countries. Of course none of them should hold a national elected office.

As posted at Ace and at least tried to post at RedState:

Didn't Kevin Madden start this on CNN? Isn't it on YouTube?

A friend of mine once told the story about his father, who as I recall was sitting with his sons on the back porch, cleaning his shotgun. (He worked at Olin/Winchester.) Dad became bothered by a mosquito. So, he loaded, waited for the mosquito to arrange herself where nothing harmful to shoot was on the other side of it, aimed and pulled the trigger.

Then he turned to his son and said, "Shoot one mosquito with a shotgun and the others take notice."

Obama was vetted by George Soros. That’s all that was needed.
