The anonymous trashing of Sarah Palin by blabbermouth McCain aides who are leaking to Fox News is disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.
Allah’s got the vid clip of a report citing unnamed McCain staffers accusing Palin of lacking, in Carl Cameron’s words, “knowledgeability.”
At least all the Hollywood and Manhattan Palin-haters were willing to sign their names and put their faces on their attacks.
Let’s assume the rumor-mongers are telling the truth for a moment. Who does it damn more: Sarah Palin or McCain and his vetters who green-lighted her for the vice presidential nomination? Don’t need an Ivy League degree to figure that one out.
Sarah Palin worked her heart out. She energized tens of thousands to come out who would have otherwise stayed home. She touched countless families. I didn’t agree with everything she said on the campaign trail. But two fundamental conservative stands she took mattered greatly to me: She vigorously defended the Second Amendment and the sanctity of life more eloquently in practice than any of the educated conservative aristocracy.
And she did it all with a tirelessness and infectious optimism that defied the shameless, bottomless attempts by elites in both parties to bring her and her family down.
Shame on the smearers who don’t have the balls to show their faces.
Thank you, Sarah Palin. Thank you for stepping up the plate and serving your country.

Here’s a story these staffers tell: Sent to collect Palin from a hotel, she greeted them, straight from the shower (running late, I guess ) dressed (scandal!) only in a bathrobe (presumably a very thick hotel bathrobe).
These staffers called that “uncommon” — Cameron delighted in the word to give it the sound of “whorish, unprofessional.”
Heh, assholes? She had to open the door and had just gotten out of the shower. Did you want her to use her magical powers of telekinesis to open the door for you?
So is RedState, which announces an accountability project.
Nothing Sarah does will ever be enough. The good old boys in Washington can’t stand someone from outside the beltway that hasn’t been vetted.

In the very recent past, ex Romney campaign staff working for McCain had been trashing Palin because they wanted to make it more difficult for her to get in the way of Romney running again.
Carl Cameron is officially of my watch list. I will mute it or turn away every time he opens his mouth!

This is the 3rd time in my lifetime that RINO candidates have lost to democrats. (Ford, Dole and now McCain). The Bush family had to lie to us conservatives to get on board. The father with “read my lips, no new taxes” which he raised. And then the son with his spending hikes, MEX-AMERI-CANADA schemes, and eventual collapse to socialism in the bailout.
I watched part of this and I thought Cameron was so gleeful that he was going to have a orgasm...
Cameron was reporting unconfirmed gossip. He was not a witness nor did he have taped proof. He should be ashamed of himself. Name the source when a person’s reputation is at stake so people can see whether he had an ax to grind and he can be quizzed directly. I think Cameron should be fired because he is not up to his job. Greta and her guest pointed out that the same kind of poisonous comments came out of “sources” close to Hillary’s campaign. Maybe people do not give women who seek power the same amount of slack they give men. I’m just a mere man myself, as they say, but no one raised an eyebrow when another candidate thought that Iran was a tiny country no threat to anyone. Andorra is a tiny country.

I think Sarah should force Stevens' resignation by what ever means necessary, and appoint First Dude Senator.
Then both should switch to independent registration, offer to work with any conservatives, and work to make Alaska the only expanding economy in the US.
Let McCain and the rest of the RINO's have to switch to DemocRat to get the time of day, that's where they belong.
Agree 100%. Obama would have won in a landslide if it wasn't for Sarah. Everyone I know voted for her, not really McCain.

Well, he certainly comes across as a fag, that’s for sure. They can all go to hell as far as I’m concerned. Sarah will only grow in stature in the coming years, fags and Rinos, not so much.
If these people are going to trash Palin, they need to do so on camera. How can they report ugly rumors as fact, without proof? I want to know who these people are. I don’t buy any of it. Sarah is an intelligent woman, and would certainly have known Africa is a continent. This woman gave her all, and to treat her this way is unconscionable.
