The McCain Campaign’s Classless Cowards (already attempting to blame Sarah for their loss!!!)
MichelleMalkin.com ^ | 11/05/08 | Michelle Malkin

The anonymous trashing of Sarah Palin by blabbermouth McCain aides who are leaking to Fox News is disgusting. Absolutely disgusting.

Allah’s got the vid clip of a report citing unnamed McCain staffers accusing Palin of lacking, in Carl Cameron’s words, “knowledgeability.”

At least all the Hollywood and Manhattan Palin-haters were willing to sign their names and put their faces on their attacks.

Let’s assume the rumor-mongers are telling the truth for a moment. Who does it damn more: Sarah Palin or McCain and his vetters who green-lighted her for the vice presidential nomination? Don’t need an Ivy League degree to figure that one out.

Sarah Palin worked her heart out. She energized tens of thousands to come out who would have otherwise stayed home. She touched countless families. I didn’t agree with everything she said on the campaign trail. But two fundamental conservative stands she took mattered greatly to me: She vigorously defended the Second Amendment and the sanctity of life more eloquently in practice than any of the educated conservative aristocracy.

And she did it all with a tirelessness and infectious optimism that defied the shameless, bottomless attempts by elites in both parties to bring her and her family down.

Shame on the smearers who don’t have the balls to show their faces.

Thank you, Sarah Palin. Thank you for stepping up the plate and serving your country.

***

More: Ace of Spades is %^&* spitting mad:

Here’s a story these staffers tell: Sent to collect Palin from a hotel, she greeted them, straight from the shower (running late, I guess ) dressed (scandal!) only in a bathrobe (presumably a very thick hotel bathrobe).

These staffers called that “uncommon” — Cameron delighted in the word to give it the sound of “whorish, unprofessional.”

Heh, assholes? She had to open the door and had just gotten out of the shower. Did you want her to use her magical powers of telekinesis to open the door for you?

So is RedState, which announces an accountability project.

You know, I’m starting to feeling better. I don’t think I could stand spending the next 4 years having to defend and/or tolerate a McCain Presidency. I think it would have been better for the country than the alternative, but it would of been painful from a conservative point of view.

And what about that one stupid guy who just had a four-year degree from a no-name Christian college? I think his name was, oh yes, “Ronald Reagan.”

We have, at barest minimum, two burgeoning young conservative superstars (Palin, followed by Jindal) from whom to choose, four years from now, rather than simply another tired old RINO whore such as McCain.

Feels freakin' INCREDIBLE, doesn't it...?!? ;)

Fox, and all network news, and soon all cable, and likely all television, will be off my watch list. I can get the headlines and stories without the editorialising from the internet (thanks FR!), and it’s one aspect in my campaign to starve the beast. I am going to serious as a heart attack about this. Let them all blather to each other, I’m not giving them the ratings and the ad dollars.

Thank God Barack Obama doesn’t think we have 57 states, Joe Biden actually remembers who the president was during the depression and lastly Joe Biden knows how many letters are in the word J-O-B-S

What would be really horrible is if we elected a President who thought it was appropriate to put his hands on his crotch during the national anthem. I can't imagine that horror.

If not for Sarah, Obama would have won in a landslide

That's absolutely true. And that's why the MSM, libs across the board, and even RINOs, are trying to kill her hopes now before she gets a chance to get back in the public eye again. They know full well if she comes back the next time, she might not be running as VP, and she'll have four years of Obamaination to work with as grist for the "I told you so" mill.

It will be sweet payback when Sarah gets to use the phrase "This nation cannot take another four years of the FAILED POLICIES of Barack Obama!"

Carl Cameron and Nina Easton....top of the priority list. I can’t wait to see them squirm. I’m sick of them being so disgustingly judgmental and never having to pay the consequence. Carl is a petty weasel and Nina is a narcissistic nag.

Oh, I think that is one thing we don't have to worry about! I can't imagine the very abortion favoring Obama offering Palin anything but more miserable, unfounded attacks. This guy is an elitist through and through! Sarah is a piker as far as he's concerned.

My one fear is that Obama will target Palin. He has a history of elimating his competition well before an election.

My one fear is that Obama will target Palin.

That works both ways, however. During the next four years, Sarah will be provided ample (and electorally lethal) opportunity to garner campaign weaponry versus The Annointed One, re: his guarnteed blunders-to-come while in office.

Remember how Reagan killed, skinned and cooked the ultra-liberal Carter, that very same way. ;)

The guy who won yesterday is a DEMOCRAT! Of course he won’t
be asked any difficult questions by the MSM. But a republican needs to be competent since they will be grilled mercilessly as Sarah Palin was.

I have yet to be presented by any evidence, of even the most marginally convincing sort, that Sarah Palin is anything but "competent" in affairs geo-political.

She has negotiated trade deals with Japan, as well as oil and fishing rights with Russia. By any non-PDS standard, that already places her demonstrably higher on that particular skill-set graph than... oh, say... McCain, or Romney. No Sale.
