The Governor of Hawaii, Linda Lingle is a Republican, she endorsed John McCain for President, campaigned on McCain’s behalf and said that she considers Barack Obama unqualified to be President of the United States, yet on the issue of Barack Obama’s birth certificate, the Lingle administration
has already declared Obama’s original long form birth certificate to be genuine.

According to an Associated Press report State officials saud there’s no doubt Barack Obama was born in Hawaii.

Health Department Director Dr. Chiyome Fukino said that she and the registrar of vital statistics, Alvin Onaka, had personally verified that the health department holds Obama’s original birth certificate.

Fukino says that no state official, including Governor Lingle had ever instructed that Obama’s certificate be handled any differently from any other Hawaii Vital Record.

She said that state law bars release of a certified birth certificate to anyone who does not have a tangible interest.

A southwest Ohio magistrate has rejected a challenge to Obama’s citizenship. Judges in Seattle and Philadelphia recently dismissed similar suits.

That’s all AP fine and good. I'm looking at clarifying the PROCESS of verifying this and other candidates. If they don,t affirmatively do what they are required to do under the Constitution (remember, they take an oath) then they are liable for the results. Cheat and lose everything! So... let's get the process clarified before Inauguration Day. No big deal. Just establish the procedures. If he's a foreigner, we've got him. If his father was really an American (not Obama Sr.) we expose him as a fraud and he's sworn in. No big deal.

Apparently, only Queen Elisabeth has standing. If Obama isn't qualified to take the oath of office, can she get her continent back? s/

Congress has the duty to certify that the candidate is qualified to take office and that the electors have properly elected the person in accordance with the Constitution. They take an oath to uphold the constitution.

If Obama doesn&rsquo't produce evidence that he is qualified, this issue won't go away and it will haunt his presidency. Every bad decision or mistake (almost every day of any presidency, depending on who's side one is on) will highlight the fact that he is illegitimate in the office.

ONE WONDERS WHY HE WON'T PUT THIS SIMPLE ISSUE TO REST BY SHOWING A CONGRESSIONAL COMMITTEE THE BC WHILE IN CLOSED SESSION. THEY CAN LOOK AND CERTIFY HIS ELECTION AND NEVER DISCLOSE THAT HE'S PINK FRANK'S SON!!! (OR, WAS IT FIDEL, OR ....)
