I agree with most of your point of view. I'm merely trying to point out the “hatchet job” that was done on Governor Palin, and which seems to be continuing now in the effort to derail her future in politics. There are many enemies from within the “so called” Republican establishment, as well as the obvious MSM and DemonRATs. The DemonRATs are automatically suspect and therefor not much concern, although I really do think they picked our presidential candidate this election cycle. The MSM is / was / always will be a major obstacle. Cheap backstabbing attacks from disloyal campaign staffers cannot be tolerated. Leaking to the press about the silly wardrobe issues and things of that nature were deliberate sabotage. Individuals with that level of lack of integrity, I don't want representing me.

I think we have an accord. All I am really saying is that there is plenty of time for us to move forward.
The Republican Party needs a major overhaul...towards the Right. Sarah Palin may or may not be our standard bearer; that remains to be determined, but let's not build her into something that she is not. She is a neophyte on the national scene and she has had a baptism by fire.
I like her, but I am a patient Conservative. I will wait and see and I will consider all criticisms of her and all that her defenders say.
If I only listened to President Bush's critics, I would believe him to be the devil rather than the very good man I know him to be...far from perfect...and very disappointing on some fronts, but a very fine, moral man whom I admire...warts and all.
