I’m surprised the US stock markets dropped this much today. I would have figured that an Obama presidency was already factored into the market averages.

This isn’t going to stop my mortgage from getting paid or my free gas, right? What about my free fried chicken?

Well, it was, but there's more to come ~ Ohio's stupidity is one of the things just sinking in. A state with as much geography as West Germany and a major chunk of America's most productive electric motor driven industrial base decided they wanted to live without coal fired power plants.
It's just now sinking in that those people are MAD, stark raving mad.

I would have figured that an Obama presidency was already factored into the market averages. Theory: institutional investors already factored it in. Individuals now bailing out.

Yeah, you’d think. All the floor traders’ bosses were contributing mighty heavily to Obama’s campaign. They should have seen this coming.
