What hurts most isn’t the liberal politicians, it’s seeing the depraved people in my family, church, neighborhood, Catholic university, and country for what they are.
They didn’t give us Obama as much as Obama revealed who they were, and what our society now mostly is.
Amen. My catholic friend of 20 years is not speaking to me after calling me selfish and greedy. When I told her of the freedom of choice act, she told me that we have to take care of those that are already born as well. I am shocked at the depth of vitriol this otherwise decent Christian woman harbors toward me.
She also told me Palin is evil and mean because she should be at home with her special needs child. When I pointed out that she is a physician working every day and has a learning disabled child of her own, her answer was not printable and she could not see the correlation. I don’t know if this is delusion or willful turning of the back on basic principles, but it has truly shaken me. The mask was torn and I now understand how the left sees us.
