When I read this, it made me think of some important Scripture that I read last night:
Matthew 7 1-5
Do not judge, so that you may not be judged. For with the judgement you make you will be judged, and the measure you give will be the measure you get. Why do you see the speck in your neighbours eye, but do not notice the log in your own eye? Or how can you say to your neighbour, Let me take the speck out of your eye, while the log is in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your neighbours eye.
7:12: In everything do to others as you would have them do to you; for this is the law and the prophets.
Also, look at the Lord’s Prayer:
And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors. (Mt 6:12)
Often we just say that without thinking about its implication. That’s saying that we’re asking God to forgive us as much as we forgive those who have made us angry? It’s conditional, you know? Forgive US in the same way we forgive those people we disagree with, who have sinned against us. If we don’t forgive them, then how can God forgive us any less? That’s tough. But that is what scripture tells us we have to do. That’s Jesus there, the Word of God, having been with God for all time, our one Messiah and savior telling us to forgive and not judge anyone.
But strive first for the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Praise God and may God continue to bless the United States.
Wow, isn’t it amazing all the newbies that have joined us today?
Where are the kitties to make them feel welcome?
It not about judging or unforgiveness, it is about fighting for this country and the children of future generations.
I am an even tempered person and treat people with respect 95% time.
This is what I have chosen to do through prayer and my wallet.
