I was highly angry last night. This morning brings rational thought though. Obama followers will be his undoing. When the checks don’t come in, when the troops don’t come home immediatly, when the unicorns and rainbows don’t show up, they will turn on him like wildfire. As far as McCain, he lost because his entire campaign was a concession speach.
Someone said last night that it was OUR turn to moan about/undermine Obama like they moaned about Bush.
It’s going to be fun!
Yeah, just like they turned on the Dems. for accomplishing nothing since they recaptured Congress. Pelosi and Reid are still smiling.

I love you.
Thank you.
Largely sums up my feelings.
Danger in that Obi could well spend years 3 & 4 trying to regain their favor.
As to McCain, very early on many of us on FR questioned his nomination on grounds that he wasn't intended to win...now I'm fairly sure we were correct.
The real risk in this election was to Sara Palin, the developing story to watch is just what both parties do to her for running for VP on a losing ticket.
I just can't yet deal with the prospect of spending my retirement looking at Michelle and having to say "first lady". Maybe dark sunglasses will help.
(Flash: history re-write alert; FOX just announced that 'the son of an African immigrant has been elected president", fits right in there with the "raised by a single mother" myth.)
