Same here AQ. I never thought I’d see a return to someone in charge of our military who thinks that the cuts Clinton made in the Military didn’t go far enough and wats to cut us more.
That depresses me more than anything today.
Not knowing what is going to be done to weaken even further the military in which I serve.
If I held a commission in the Armed Forces, I would be preparing to resign it on Obama’s innauguration day. I won’t be surprised to see a massive wave of officer resignations. Who the Hell would want to follow a CIC who tried for years to stab you in the back???
It's very quiet here at USNORTHCOM/J2 today, very somber. Everyone's too depressed to speak much. My heart aches for all of the soliders, airmen, and Marines here who voluntarily served in combat in Iraq and Afghanistan, and who are now wondering if the loss of their brothers in the defense of America will be thrown away.
