Look on the bright side (yes there is one)... The vultures are already descending upon the president elect. “Human rights” organizations are already calling for US intervention in a number of nations (without using the word, “military” of course). The market mavens (and commentators) are already talking about the limits of what our next president will be able to do (example: health care reform is off the table). Sports agents are already announcing what they will do to reduce the impact of new taxes on their clients.
The reality is now going to hit the 44th president with a force that all of his rhetoric and his paper thin resume have not prepared him for.
For conservatives, it’s time to retake the party and focus our message on what Americans can do, and what the government cannot do. The fight for the White House in 2012 begins in a few hours, and the 2010 fight for Congress will begin in days.
Let not your heart be troubled, the fight for America is just beginning.
