Sarah supports amnesty, which would be the death of Conservatism (even now we are seeing the results of amnesty from the 1980s).
Sarah was also part of a ticket that was utterly humiliated. Name the last time a VP candidate from a losing ticket went on to get the nomination and then win four years later. You would have to go really far back, and the GOP as a whole will not support her. Fox News and some of McCain's campaign advisers blaming the loss on her was only the beginning.
We need a fresh start.
I would support Sarah taking over Ted Stevens' Senate position, but only if she renounces her support for amnesty. I don't see that happening - she's never been in a position where she's seen the impact that illegal immigration can have on a large state.

She never supported amnesty personally. she was just a part of the McCain ticket.
