Oh Please. No prayer threads on FR for Obama. Over the top that is.
I will be saying my prayers to save our nation from the muslims.

I think we need to be praying earnestly for JimRob as well.
I believe that his health is not aided by such discouragements. We need to hold each other up fiercely at such times.
I don’t know how much he realizes how much folks depend on him and need him. Perhaps more than is fitting for Christians.
Nevertheless, God has raised him up for a critical role at a critical time and we need to support him accordingly in prayer 24/7.
We might also do well in addition to praying for his health to pray that God makes God’s will abundantly and plainly clear to him AND GIVES HIM THE COURAGE AND MEANS TO FOLLOW THROUGH ACCORDINGLY. God has ways of getting through to JimRob that even those closest to him don’t have.
Thanks. I am grieving because it feels like the death of America. I pray I am wrong. I pray that this is a turning point in our history, for the better. Maybe this is a wake-up call to Christians. I don’t know. I just know I am scared for my country and my children’s future. I know God is in control. I also know God is a God of righteous anger and judgment. I have never cried over the outcome of an election before this.
We are all with you, and probably very close to where you are right now emotionally. You are not alone in what you see and we weep for nation.

Prayer is all we have now. I’m praying for the intercession of the Holy Spirit, that our new President will be filled with His spirit and guided by His will.

Pray for there to be ears to hear and eyes to see….the Truth. Thy Word is Truth.

Praise the Worthy Lamb, for His Kingdom is near.
But this is a man, who defined sin as straying from HIS own principles!
I will pray for our nation, and for our soldiers, who have a tough enough job as it is, without serving under a CIC who understands NOTHING of them, or of what they do.
I will pray for the deluded to open their minds, and think.
I will pray, for O to realize he is wrong about darn near everything.
And I will pray for conservatives. For us to stay strong, and determined. For us to be a beacon, never allowing our voice to be silenced.
Of course I will pray. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. I’m still in the valley of Baca (weeping), but the Spirit of the Lord will pull me out and I will come out fighting.

Ditto. Before yesterday, I prayed for his salvation and I’ll do that again some day. Now I’m just praying that I’ll stop puking.

Christians have become stronger duringtimes of persecution.
this may be one of those times, or, this could be the beginning of the end times.
We pray for all lost souls, that they may come home to You, Lord. Help us to lead, but also follow, to be sure of Your Way.
We follow to the daeth, as it is a natural end to end one in this world. What better way to serve than to end life serving You.
We know this is Your Will for this nation. May the eyes of many be opened to what they have done. Instead of freedom through love, many have chosen chains of hatred.
We praise You name, Lord, in all You do. Amen.
THIS is exactly what God does to get people out of their comfortable positions.

I just got this email from a friend:
Hello friends,
When i was 14 years old i prayed for a Russian General every time i saw
his picture on the tv or in newspaper. I said “save him, Lord” or
pointing to him i would say “receive Jesus as your Lord an Saviour” or
“do what you can Lord, to save that man”. That General did receive Jesus
as his Lord and Saviour, years later he came to Yuma to raise money for
his ministry. I got to meet him an tell him how a teenager in Yuma
Arizona prayed for him.
This same kind of prayer can also be said for a US President every time
i see his face i will say the same thing as i said for that General. It
would be good to have help. Together we can help save a man, a family,
and even a nation from going to hell.
Every time you see his face...
