Haha! Funny thing is....most of us could probably take our government check and figure out a way to save a little of it. Better put it under your mattress, there maybe a tax placed on your windfall earnings.

I like it. We could barter for haircuts, childcare and all sorts of things. It would be like an adventure. Like we all started out. I remember having $16.00 left over at the end on the week to spend after paying my rent and I could squeeze out a little entertainment by going to the movies and maybe buy some little something. It was some of the best times of my life. I would love to stick it to these moochers. They can't get blood out of a turnip.

I have never spoke to her since. Have never even posted with her. That's the good thing about freepers their is just always the tie that binds. I actually think we probably do not live that far from each other, but were both from the left coast and that's not a whole lot to be excited about. My wife was actually the lurker at that time.

Want her phone number? I can post it!
BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
She’s a DEAR dear lady, isn’t she!!!

My wife is always reminding me, when we married in 1963 she never had more then 10 dollars a week to spend on groceries. At that time l9 cents would buy a pound of hamburger, and gas was 13 cents a gallon, and they pumped it for you, checked you oil and cleaned your windows if you were a girl.

Thanks that was good, the wife sorta does something like that with all the grandchildren, and when they get thru she manages to find one of the kids at church that need something.

Just went to Cafepress.com. Wow. I would NEVER buy from that site!!!
Front page is full of Obama crap. Pro “false messiah” t-shirts.
Isn’t this what this thread is about? not buying from pro liberal places?
I don’t mean to attack you, just saying, everyone should check out where they are buying stuff from.

Add me to the ping list please. Thanks.

I cut cable a while back after realizing I watched TV only on Sunday nights and one program on Monday evenings. I had to get the old rabbit ears out to receive a signal. Now, they are switching over to the new signal in Feb. 2009. I really wonder if I am going to want to watch at all. I wonder if I can completely disconnect or if I will need my ‘fix’ of TV.
For me I recall listening to sports via the radio. Dad used to watch the game on TV turn the volume down and the radio up! He thought the radio announcers were better at describing the game! Now, it might be nice to just go out with some friends and watch the game at a local restaurant.
You might find this site helpful, Hillbilly Housewife. I know a lot of her ideas/menus etc. reminded me of my Mom and how she did things. Made things last, made do and made nice. http://www.hillbillyhousewife.com/

I guess you can tithe if you want, but it seems like the org chart of so many churches funnel up to things like the UN or some Liberal or commie intention, or involve some kind of “outreach” program that ultimately interfaces to some Liberal agency. The intention here is to put the squeeze on the non-producers and their enablers. Sorry to say it but facilitating the non-producers seems to have become a prime mission of the churches.
In many cases, it seems like funding the churches has contributed to the rise of Obama. Maybe your experience is different.

Yep, I was in northern Utah / southwestern Wyoming last month on a geological field trip. Lots of wide open spaces and not a liberal in sight. It was elk season so there were plenty of my kind of people - hunters. Not a bad place to hide out the Obamination of the next four years.
