Schlep the Vote worked. That foul mouthed girl convinced the retirees to vote for Obama.

Don’t be silly.

1. S. FL is reporting now

2. People in the panhandle ARE STILL VOTING

FL is split by two time zones. Chill out!

Florida is a very diverse state, partial returns are only useful if you know what area of the state they are coming from.

The analysis here:
http://abcnews.go.com/politics/elections/?category=Florida
says mcCain is down, but also says 0% reporting. Must be an error since the polls haven’t closed yet.

These numbers include returns from Orange, Miami-Dade and Pinellas counties. McCain will close when the the panhandle polls come in, he should also gain with returns from the areas west of Ocala (The Villages).

Why in the heck are they reporting anything from FL yet? Did no one learn anything from 2000? Polls do not close until 8:00 PM. Under no conditions should any precinct’s numbers be reported by the Sec’y of State or the media. Un-freakin’-believable.

Good reminder... I almost gagged when I saw FOX’s polls for FL. Why can’t we allow a state to finsih voting before releasing vote totals??? The media does this every damn time. Including FX.

You can’t just look at the raw numbers you have to look at where they are coming from. If the numbers are coming in from Miami or Orlando that is trouble. If they are coming in from Palm Beach what else would you expect.

Do we know WHERE the Florida votes are coming from? If these are the votes from South Florida, then it’s not bad news at all.

I am concerned that the momentum McCain starting building at the end of the contest will be muted by the fact that too many people went and voted early. Momentum doesn’t help you with people who have already voted.

He’s down 100k in NC also.

But less than 1 percent of the vote counted in other words +99% have not been reported. And in FloriDUh, those are the early votes.
