We deserve this.
We have free will and we exercised it.
We have allowed this to become a nation where our faith is questioned. God is taken out of our daily lives as much as possible. We have rejected helping ourselves in favor of expecting a government to help us.
I believe that this is tough love time from our Father. And He’s absolutely right as He infinitely is.
I agree 1000% with you. We asked for this. Oh, not US, but you know what I mean. I think Obama is punishment for our sin of turning away from Him. Let us at least the lesson this time!!
WE? Speak for yourself. I'm sick to death of being dragged down by other people. "Tough love"? For what? Being faithful and voting for McCain?

This is tough love, I feel that's right. If God didn't love us He wouldn't correct us--or get our attention, which He most definitely has tonight.
Most of the time, He knocks softly. But every now and then, He has to kick the door down to wake us up.
This may be just the beginning of the noise He will make. There may be other things coming soon to turn our heads back to Him ... I don't know when, that's not for me to say, I won't speculate.
But I have an overwhelming sense that I need to be ready for Him and stay ready (I'm ashamed to say I haven't been).
