I’m near tears and from all the times I’ve cried with my Freeper friends, I know I’m not alone.
BUT, like cajungirl said earlier, we will survive and we will thrive. Our American spirit is strong. We will be sad tonight, but tomorrow we will wake up and we will fight again.
I don’t know if you were here during the Clinton years, but one thing I really loved about FR back then was that we were all so united. We had something to fight for. I look forward to fighting with you guys and NEVER EVER EVER EVER letting Obama forget that we are here and we will NOT be shut down!

Thank you ((Retrokitten)) for articulating what has been on my heart for an hour or so. The only way ‘they’ win is if we quit, give up, surrender. I will have my mourning period, and then be ready to get back to work with a fury. I’m up for a good fight - how about you?

We thought we needed to fight through Clinton, he was nothing. At least we had a few conservatives in the House and Senate for sanity sake. Now we have nothing but solialists and RINO’s.
The only way to win a war as the underdog is via small victories.
1. No a cent more to the RNC until and unless they remove their upper tier and replace it with true conservatives. Carrying on that position down to the line to the lowest paid receptionist to every candidate.
2. We have the military on our side. Support our troops, vets and their families with respect, monies and anything else they need. Obama and the country won’t, we will.
3. Do not vote for anyone unless they are a true conservative. Vote against the current regimen. Change party affiliation if you must.
4. They are in charge now, make them accountable for every thing they do, by protest if necessary.
5. Pray.
Retro, we’re with you!!! We’re all together in this and we are going through the same emotions. I’ll fight with you folks until I draw my last breath! Thanks for being there and thanks to FR for all of the great discourse! Time for us to regroup and step things up!! God Bless America and God Help Us!!
Didn’t Jim start this site when we had no political power in the Executive or Legislative branches? Here were are again. We need to put pressure on Congress for so many things, most importantly the choice of Supreme Court justices. We have a lot of work to do. Tonight, we cry. Tomorrow we move on.
