Yes but McCain also needed to show that the democrats were the cause of the economic mess. The economy is what it came down to and the dems were the ones at fault. If McCain could have shown them to be the cause that they were he very well would have won.
That’s what I said. He didn’t, he failed miserably and it cost us. Clinton kicked our asses worse than what’s going on tonight, and we got a Republican congress and president out of it, eventually. Obama’s win is narrow, though the EC will make it look worse, it doesn’t change the fact that he and the dems are still very vulnerable going forward.
