Like I thought. He'll be the first minority President since Clinton. What kept the election from becoming a blowout is there was no Ross Perot to suck away votes from the GOP. When you consider everything that happened, to be almost dead even in an environment as hostile as can be for Republicans is a true miracle. I'd rather have us be in the minority so the Democrats can take their fatuous talk of a mandate and find how much the country really wants it. Take that Nancy and Dingy Harry!

Spot on. This election WAS close...whether that was because our base didn’t show up or because independents went for socialism is up in the air at this point...but it WAS close. How many states is O winning by razor thin margins? And to think, had McCain handled the stock market issue by naming names, something we were all screaming for him to do but he refused, he could still have won. Blaming “Wall Street greed” instead of Franklin Raines et all, cost him the election imo.
