I think you’ll find that the Obama honeymoon will be very short indeed, including with the MSM.

I’m glad people are getting some of the fear, anguish and unhappiness out of their system tonight. That said, many of these thoughts are ridiculous. We are the most powerful and resilient nation on Earth. We will be fine, both as Americans and as the conservative movement.

The pendulum always swings in American politics. A third term for any party holding the White House after 8 years is rare. People innately seek change after 8 years of one party in the White House. We had Kennedy in 1960, Nixon in 1968, Carter in 1976, and Bush in 2000.

The RATS will overplay their hand and we’ll have the luxury of throwing political grenades for two years. We have substantive midterm gains to secure in 2010. Lets hold our heads high and get to work.

When Hussein pulls out all of our troops out of Iraq and the Iran rushes in, it will be Obama’s Defeat and the Democrats Defeat. When gas prices soar because of that instability in the Middle East, it will be their heads. EXCLUSIVELY.

You're not alone...I could be creative with my taxes, but don't because I don't like to play the odds with the IRS. But we are smarter than most of the liberals who have decent incomes, I'm sure of that. I know many of them...clipping coupons, shopping at discount stores...putting the work into being a savvy consumer...they consider that either beneath them or a waste of time. To me, it is called 'life'.

Where we could struggle for a good while under tough economic times, they will say 'ow' at the first pinch, that pinch being a brand-new car, an elaborate vacation or Gap clothes for the kids. And that 'ow' will be directed at the guy who was supposed to make everything all rosy.

I just got home after spending the evening with Republican friends. I sobbed during McCain's concession speech and am still in shock as I was so convinced he would win. It is after midnight and there is no dancing in the streets on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. In fact, it is silent. Thanks FRiends for being here. ;)
