I am amazed that Murtha is winning by 18% in his district in PA, after the crap he said about the people he represents. I have no respect now for voters in PA.

Unless McCain has somehow managed to flip California, it doesnt look possible for him (and us) to win.I'm in CA and just voted....and there are McCain/Palin signs and Prop 8 signs everywhere and all my friends are Mac supporters....so anything is possible..my friend is chairman for the Inland Empire GOP office and she said the support and request for signs has been overwhelming....

I don't see the GOP having the kind of leadership talent that's going to move back to a Congressional majority in two years ... especially since RINOS like Specter, Snowe and Collins can be expected to cross party lines to break filibusters. Correct. Unfortunately.

Since I knew absolutely from so much evidence that McCain would lose, I do not feel the since of loss that I would have if I really believed that he could win. I think it behooves conservatives to be practical and realistic. Putting ones head in the sand and ignoring reality does nothing but harm. I hope that Freepers will not put such faith in Rinos in the future. They always end up disappointing.

but just a reminder.. PRAYER WORKS! Amen! Thank you for the reminder, I did indeed need it. My God, nothing is impossible for You. What men say is irrelavent. What YOU say is all that matters. In Jesus' Name, Our Eternal Savior, Amen.

I disagree. I think Sarah Palin has a great chance.

I will afford him even less, if that’s possible.
My brother has served in Iraq and Kosovo, he volunteered for duty both times. He’s leaving the military now, he’ll never salute the racist socialist.

I agree about your thread idea. I’ve been thinking about the same things, and I did reduce a tip last night to just 15% instead of the usual 20, thinking just like you do. I plan on asking my housekeepers who they supported (this may be a tricky question), but I know she supported Bush in 04. Her employment with me depends on her answer. My money will NOT be spent in liberal establishments if I can catch a glimmer of Obot-ness from them. I’ll be watching people carefully over the next several days.
Oh, and I’m letting these people know why I no longer go to their stores/ tip them/ donate $$, etc...

Hang in there and keep defending the high ground. Our day will be coming just around the corner, when the American people feel what the Demorats have done.

Do the people in rural PA and OH actually think Barack is going to do anything for them? What ever tax money they redistribute is going straight to the inner cities to organize communities. Stupid, stupid people. I can't speak for PA, but rural Ohio voted for John McCain. Barry carried Ohio by winning Cleveland, Columbus, Dayton, and Toledo by big margins.

It would seem most of the stolen votes from Fithly and the Burgh are tallied and NOW the T is beginning to come in.
Big tightening in the past hour.

No. Sorry. It's over. Big time. We lost. Its all this bullshit denial for the past 6 weeks that insisted all the polls were wrong. And people like me who tried to put forward a more realistic were shouted down. Maybe next time more Freepers will live in reality instead of some fantasy land.

Remind me never to move to Pennsylvania.
What did the McCain campaign see in that state? He’s behind 59% to 40% right now. And Rendell worried too about it.

I don't understand the people of the US right now. They've figured they can vote themselves the proverbial largesse from the treasury. Libs have co-opted the educational system. TV and music has cluttered their heads with noise. I could go on.
