McCain did indeed run a lousy campaign. He tried to play both sides of the fence. He refused to use footage of rabid anti-American and Anti-semitic Rev. Wright.
John McCain refused to hit back - that’s how I see it.
I voted for John McCain this morning and, you know what, the way we FREEPERS and conservatives stood by Sen. McCain he’d better remember this if he becomes president. The press never cared for John McCain. The press supported John McCain because he was the “safest” republican in case he pulled out a victory.
Remember, as soon as John McCain won the nomination the gloves were off and the NYT was running with a false story about a possible affair Sen. McCain never actually had but it supposedly happened over a decade ago.
If he wins, Sen. McCain should remember exactly who stood by him and voted for him and put up with a lot of abuse on his behalf.
